Jim Planincic - Chief Executive Officer
Jim has recently been appointed to the newly created position of CEO, charged with strengthening the strategic and corporate operations of DCL & Aurum and enhancing our capacity to further develop our client relations and, moreover, service provision. Jim brings with him over 30 years of senior executive experience in the remote and local catering & hospitality industries, security & fire businesses, and education & training services in WA, SA, NT, QLD, NSW, VIC, NZ, PNG and Asia.
Gerard McLean - General Manager
Gerard joined Aurum and DCL, offering more than 25 years’ food service, catering and business experience. Prior to joining the companies in WA, Gerard previously owned and operated a catering and events company and two award-winning restaurants in Sydney. Gerard has multi-talented expertise in co-coordinating and setting up new projects in the remote and local sectors. Gerard oversees daily operations of all our site services, budget controls, coordinates all new site mobilizations, Kitchens & accommodation services with all our facilities and with a total commitment for client satisfaction.
With a focus on relationship building and sustainability; new business, hazard identification, risk assessment, compliance with OHS systems; and to ensure operational budgets are met or exceeded; Gerard is able to ensure our site leaders in all areas of the business exceed our commitment to our clients.
Kerry Wiffen - Area Manager
Having commenced with Aurum as a Catering Team Leader in 1997, Kerry was promoted to a new role as Area Manager for both Aurum and DCL in 2012. In this role she is responsible for providing leadership, direction, operational management and support for specified Facilities/Sites for both businesses.
Kerry has extensive experience working in the Aged Care sector and has managed kitchen catering for up to 110 high and low care residents. She has worked in all of Aurum’s facilities and provided high quality professional development and training for our Catering Team Leaders.
Kerry brings considerable enthusiasm and energy in pursuing the essential applications of Food Safety, OH&S, QA and team building. Her strength in mobilising sites and staff provides a substantial first impression asset for both Aurum and DCL.
Diana Kelly - Support Services Officer
Di, another recent addition to our team, strengthens our capacity to provide support services at both corporate and site levels. Di is familiar with site operations and has worked in various functions from customer liaison to credit control and management accounting. Di currently provides services in relation to accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping and payroll processing.
